its ramadhan again...!
assalamualaikum to muslims...
tomorrow 1st september,or 1st of ramadhan, muslims will again going through the fasting month.which from what i learn from my ustaz, the month we should appreciate and celebrate more, rather than syawal.
when i mention celebrating ramadhan, nothing to do with the feast or having party.we should celebrate ramadhan by increasing our 'amal ibadat' as for this holy month, the pahala is paid double, triple and so on...but still, islam do want their followers to celebrate syawal, hari raya aidilfitri!
enuff said...i wish u all happy fasting.don't ponteng2 posa mcm budak skolah.byk2 la buat ibadat.this month,all the setan kena ikat.so remember,if u do something bad,its not the setan,it's u la the setan!cheers....
chowz!

spacejunk yard??
CANBERRA (Reuters) - A cattle farmer in Australia's remote northern outback on Friday said he had found a giant ball of twisted metal, which he believes is space junk from a rocket used to launch communications satellites.
But Stirton only started inquiring into what the ball of metal really was, and where it had come from, in the past week.
"I was riding out to check some cattle, and I came around the corner and there it was in a paddock," Stirton told Reuters on Friday.
"I know a lot about sheep and cattle but I don't know much about satellites. But I would say it is a fuel cell off some stage of a rocket."
He said the object was hollow, and covered in a carbon-fiber material. He has contacted some U.S.-based aerospace companies to try to find out what the object really is.
Sydney's Powerhouse Museum said it was not uncommon for people to find spacejunk in remote areas of Australia.
In 1979, large parts of the Skylab space station fell to earth near a tiny outback town in Australia's west. A local council sent NASA a ticket for littering and then United States President Jimmy Carter rang a local motel to apologize.

where to go?
i'm still waiting to be place to carry out my new job...at the same time,i've been thinking where is the best place for me to kickstart my career.should it be in klia,or in line station?well both also have the pros and cons.
it's good to try a new challenge at a new place, such as bki.if i can get to penang,it's even better.to be place in klia also would be good for me to settle down and plan my future.as for me,i don't mind where will i go,i can accept it.just can't wait to put down my 1st signature!

Political Tsunami???
last saturday, eligible malaysian voters (including phantom voters) went out to cast their vote, for the future of the country.i myself managed to rush back to my hometown to carry out my duty.
my o' my,fantastic result as the opposition,PAS,PKR,DAP manage to deny BN 2/3 of parliament.on top of that,5 states fell to opposition hands.a new beginning to Kedah,Perak,Penang and suprisingly Selangor.Kelantan remained under PAS.the result came as the worst ever result for BN.
so,let us wait and see what kind of changes can these new government can bring to the states.don't make the same mistakes like BN...

20 days
2o days since last i posted here.along that period, many things happen.we have Le Tour de Langkawi, which i didn't get to watch much.1 of my friend sat for the oral...and passed.congratz to shahir...and the most important thing is,the so called PM dismissed the parliament on the 13th February 2008,just 1 day after he strongly denied any rumours on that.you call that lying or just another political gimmics?(i just hate the way he answer the reporter question!)
well, enough said my friends...time for us to vote and choose our leader.but 1st,did you guys register already?hahaha...dun talk bout voting if u not even registered!for me,i thought that i didn't make it as i only registered my name on last december @ post office.the lady told me i'm not going to make it if the election is on march, cause it takes 3 month for them to put your name in voter's registry...so efficient laaa SPR.i did check my name last few weeks but not in the list.but just few days ago,i checked again, there i get my name on the screen.i guess im going back to SP to vote...
which side will i vote?u can ask SPR later laaa...
p/s: my oral date is 28th february...i'm on study mode now!

St. Elmo's Fire
i just watched air crash investigation- flt 9 British Airways 747-200...and then came across a new term for-St. Elmo's Fire ...u wonder what its mean?
from Wikipidea (as i too lazy to check with other sources) ;
electrical weather phenomenon in which luminous plasma is created by a coronal discharge originating from a grounded object in an atmospheric electric field (such as those generated by thunderstorms or thunderstorms created by a volcanic explosion)
this phenomenon not only occurs on air,but initially discovered on the ship at sea.the name is taken from St. Erasmus of Formiae (also called St. Elmo), the patron saint of the sailors.
Physically, St. Elmo's Fire is a bright blue or violet glow, appearing like fire in some circumstances, from tall, sharply pointed structures such as lightning rods, masts, spires and chimneys, and on aircraft wings. St. Elmo's Fire can also appear on leaves, grass, and even at the tips of cattle horns[2]. Often accompanying the glow is a distinct hissing or buzzing sound.
so,what happen to the flight 9 BA is,the aircraft flown into the cloud of dust from a volcanic explosion which couldn't be detected by the weather radar, resulting in the failure of all the 4 engine.the aircraft diverted to Halim Airport in Jakarta to make an emergency landing.the engines were able to restart as the engine temperature dropped, but they still have to make emergency landing with zero visibility (the windscreen were damaged by the volcanic ashes) and unserviceable glide slope system.but, the tech crew did a good job to land the aircraft safely.

RPK
i've been surfing on the www to throw away the boredom as i stuck at home alone.i've been reading the malaysia today blog on and off...and i have some mix opinion on the blogger,Raja Petra Kamaruddin.
i dunno much about him,so i can't say too much.but from my reading on his blog,i can say i do agree with him on many issues.especially on our politics and national scenes.he is brave and very critical in his words, something that we need since most of main stream newspaper are so pro-gov and berat sebelah...(well malaysia today motto is your source of independent news)
but i dun agree many things when he talks about islam, well to be exact muslims.his writing can really give a bad perceptions on islam.well, most of the time he use the word muslims, but people who read it will translate it as a statement on Islam, which is not a true reflection of the religion.as a muslim,i'm not impress with the way he wrote these, eventhough his intention and idea is good...
i will keep on reading his writing and get to know this guy, just to be fair to him.somehow,i will support his writing in malaysia today!

nice one from internet!
When I born, I black
When I grow up, I black
When I go in Sun, I black
When I scared, I black
When I sick, I black
And when I die, I still black
And you white fellow
When you born, you
pink
When you grow up, you white
When you go in sun, you red
When you cold, you blue
When you scared, you yellow
When you sick, you green
And when you die, you gray
And you calling me coloured?

Patience really pay!
read this ;
BROWNSVILLE, Texas - For nearly seven years Melina Salazar did her best to put on a smile and tend to the every need of her most loyal and cantankerous customer.
"I still can't believe it," the Luby's cafeteria employee told Harlingen television station KGBT-TV in an interview during which she described Swords as "kind of mean."
Swords, a World War II veteran, died in July. But Salazar learned just a few days before Christmas that he had left her the money and car.
